A really cool spot for eating Japanese izakaya-style. The kind of place you don't find in every city, even the bigger ones.

Lucky you, Rouen residents. The main draw is their "sharing" menu, which comes with a small backup option of 3 ramens and 3 dishes for those who aren't keen on the set format.

You'll be blown away by Kyuri (marinated cucumbers), Karaage, Torikatsu or a mind-blowing Naku Sando. Among other little delightful things.

A few bottles are all lined up ready to quench your thirst, even in straight form if you fancy… but it's the sake list that really scores points with a selection of around fifteen lovely references. Well-selected, well-explained… nice work.

A table to recommend to those who think the land of the rising sun only serves sushi… and even to those who want to rediscover certain flavors they've come across over there.
