First Namur establishment in what looks like a promising series, given how things are really buzzing on this street along the Sambre banks, which has all the makings of a goldmine for great addresses. "by Alfonse" because Liquorette is part of a small constellation of interesting projects, branded Alfonse, which also includes the cocktail bar Botanical, picked up in the 50 Best Discovery, no less.

But no rankings here, Liquorette is the perfect example of a cool spot, one of those places that breaks free from rules and constraints to focus on pleasure. That's it.

A few well-chosen wines, aperitifs of the same caliber, plates to share that are indulgent and really well-executed… happiness and intelligence wherever you look. It does you a world of good.

The service is uncommonly warm and the vibe is relaxed and really well-done. In short, hard not to leave with a light spirit, a smile on your face, and your belly nicely full!
