Il Santo Bevitore

Right in the middle of Santo Spirito, one of Florence's lively neighborhoods, the place has been holding down its street corner for over 20 years now. The service is attentive and friendly, the dining room, a bit (too) dark, buzzes with distinguished energy, the staff moves discreetly between tables, the bottles (all top-notch) perched on the shelves, the mouthwatering cheese counter and excellent cured meats, and of course, the cooking.

The plates keep coming and you feast on a fantastic Lingua salmistrata, a crispy Polpo & Carciofo or a refined carpaccio of raw shrimp, mandarin and coffee.
