Another lovely spot brightening up this part of Brussels that's been seriously lacking (though less and less!) decent places. It's the team behind Yoka Tomo and Copain who opened here just a decade ago.

The references are excellent and, no surprise, expectations are met; might as well say it straight away for those who don't read to the end. The now inevitable shared plates formula is in effect here, conviviality "required," but I reckon nothing stops you from going solo if you fancy it.

The advantage on a first visit is you get to taste everything... which we obviously did. Worth noting, among other things, some delicious oysters perked up with ginger and coriander, a fabulous confit Saint-Pierre and a massive, massive crush on an octopus cooked to perfection, mint pesto and a seriously brilliant harissa-lemon confit cream.

A real treat delivered no-fuss by chef Camille Cosnefroy and her small team. The wine selection is rigorous and definitely natural, which is right up our street... maybe a touch pricey though, but that's all we can really hold against them.

The space is bright, spacious, right on trend and genuinely pleasant. And to top it off, the team nailed the perfect balance between professionalism, efficiency and cool vibes... just what you need to make the experience complete.

Recommend it without any hesitation.
