The place, pleasant and nicely laid out, sits on a corner of the Borgerhout neighborhood. The welcome is genuinely warm and attentive, as is the service, partly provided by one of the owners.
The delightful wine list is brimming with natural and biodynamic references. The menu is designed to "share" - as the times demand - but they also offer the possibility of a selection made by the chef depending on the number of guests, where the plates are sometimes chosen because they work well, sometimes doubled because it's more enjoyable that way.
This saves you from ending up with three croquettes for four, which is all too often the case elsewhere. Smart and really pleasant.
An eggplant that whisks us away to Japan, an ultra-delicious glazed brisket, a langoustine-artichoke duo executed beautifully, a veal sweetbread to die for... the plates are more indulgent than the last, and they leave us with a smile that lasts all the way to the pillow. A place worth visiting and revisiting without hesitation, especially since the bill is quite reasonable.
