Rare are the places in Brussels where one can experience such a timeless moment.Whether you like beer or not doesn’t really matter.

First, because lambic and gueuze are in a category of their own. Then, because the story of this place — and of the family behind it — is in itself worth the visit. And finally, because the production process used here has, for the most part, remained unchanged for over 100 years.

It’s truly inspiring to discover the perseverance of these generations of brewers who have held firmly to their traditions, resisting the siren call of progress, and thus allowing these remarkable products to endure to this day.

This was neither my first nor my last visit to this extraordinary place… this delightful piece of heritage is something to (re)discover without hesitation.
