If you're craving a (really) good pizza in Venice, good addresses are few and far between… but you can push through this door with complete confidence. On a corner of the beautiful Campo San Polo, the Zambon family runs this lovely establishment with a masterful hand… nice terrace overlooking the square, cute little interior courtyard and indoor dining room if the weather isn't cooperating.

The dough is made with the greatest care, the products are, as much as possible, local, the offerings are nice and not too overwhelming… And alongside the pizzas, a great selection of primi and secondi, fantastic cocktails, a nicely stocked beer list and a few natural wine references… full marks, especially when you consider the friendly and efficient service.

An address you definitely shouldn't miss, especially if you're feeling the need for a break from Venice's rather stereotyped dining scene.
