Restaurant Havana

The secluded location, the number of tourists, and the restaurant's name really didn't suggest you'd find such an incredible wine list. 76 pages of references… including a lovely selection of natural and biodynamic wines. Like throughout this whole trip, we preferred tasting the local juice but we came across quite a few French friends flipping through the pages of this completely insane Wine List.

On our plates, generous cuisine with subtle South American accents. Honest without being mind-blowing, but perfect for perking us up between two days of hiking in the magnificent Acadia National Park.

You have to elbow your way a bit to snag a table, August being what it is. The welcome could be more courteous and the service less scripted.

Anyway, it's peak season and we'd probably have a better time another moment but that's part of the game. So might as well not hold back and enjoy ourselves, which is exactly what we did… two nights in a row!
