Back to Basics: Le Tournant must have been part of the Brussels landscape for about twenty years in my opinion. It's exactly the kind of place you kick yourself for having neglected for too long when you come back, because you feel so good there.

The wine list is just perfect and it's already reason enough to go there on its own. Nothing but quality pleasure and well done... everything we love... right from the start, it puts you at ease.

On the plate, it's comforting too. Cooking without fuss but perfectly executed, made with carefully selected products.

Bistro and regional recipes, impeccable cooking, generosity... a menu that knows how to deliver pleasure without overcomplicating things. Add to that fairly reasonable prices, friendly service full of good cheer and décor that matches the cooking: simple, tasteful and successful.

One last nice touch, they're open on Mondays. In short, definitely going back soon and especially more often.
