Okay, so it's all lovely with all these great restaurants but we also said "… beautiful trinkets or pretty places and travel dust". So it's about time we diversified these posts a bit.

One Sunday, with the dream team Diito & family … The LaM, which is already in itself a place whose architecture is worth the detour, is hosting until July 2nd a magnificent exhibition on Isamu Noguchi, titled "Sculpting the World". It's a unique opportunity to discover the fascinating work of this totally underrated total artist. The exhibition design, original and successful, has fun bringing his works together by drawing inspiration from the most important exhibitions dedicated to him since the 1950s. You learn about the influences of his contemporaries and friends Brâncusi, Calder, Buckminster Fuller or choreographer Martha Graham and suddenly, the "design" part of his work takes on a whole different substance …

A must-do, especially since the region is also full of cool gourmet spots ;-)
